Kristin Carlton received The Glenn B. Collins Undergraduate Research Achievement Award in Agricultural Biotechnology for the Fall 2022 semester.

Kristin's research presentation was entitled "Investigating what role gene 356 plays in neurotropic infection of Listeria monocytogenes".

Sarah D'Orazio, Ph.D., Department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics, College of Medicine, served as Kristin's research mentor.

Chase Eastham also received the Glenn B. Collins Undergarduate Research Achievement Award in Agricultural Biotechnoloyg for the Fall 2022 semester.

Chase's presentation was entitled "Defining domains of a recruitment protein in Tombusviridae essential for viral replication organelle formation".

Peter Nagy, Ph.D., in the Department of Plant Pathology, College of Agriculture, Food and Environment, served as Chase's research mentor.
