Colin Haase, Sophia Zhou, Matthew Sanders, Jada Gordon, Violet Newhart and Xiomara Arias received the 2023-24 Agricultural and Medical Biotechnology Excellence in Research Award.

The Agricultural and Medical Biotechnology Excellence in Research (AMBER) Award was established in spring 2021 to recognize outstanding student research for students pursuing a degree in Agricultural and Medical Biotechnology. A call for nominations will occur each spring semester, and multiple recipients may be awarded depending on the number of student nominees and the quality of research conducted. Recipients will be notified at the end of each spring semester. Each AMBER recipient will receive a $50 honorarium and a signed certificate.
