Event Description
We’re excited to announce the Plant Biotechnology Workshop for this summer, August 11-14, 2025.
The workshop will include hands-on sessions covering:
• Plant DNA extraction
• PCR and gel electrophoresis
• Gene cloning
• Plant transformation
• Plant phenotyping using fluorescence
• Computer simulations of plant cell dynamics
We welcome incoming and current college students who have a strong interest in plant biotechnology. Anyone with a passion for plants or biotechnology in general is more than welcome to join!
